The tour guide of SlowVenice will bring you to the food culture, outside the everyday stereotype jam-packed routes. The guide will recount story of authentic Venice of ‘bàcari’, the gastronomic traditions of the city. It will engage you within the history, its curiosities and the connection with the Lagoon, while walking through the lanes and squares.
At the end of the tour the chef of the traditional inn is going to prepare ‘cicheti’ in front of the participants. Under the innovation and the tradition, the chef will describe the ancient dishes revealing unpublished recipes.
The real “cooking show” or moreover cooking lesson of the Venetian tradition will be accomplished by tasting of delicacies prepared by the chef.
