Limosa/SlowVenice wins UNESCO Tourism Culture Award

We are pleased to share with you an important news.

We won the UNESCO Culture Tourism Award (TCU) “Cristina Ambrosini” 2016 in the Travel Agencies category with the experience of SlowVenice trip.
The award ceremony took place Saturday, September 24 as part of the WTE World Fair of Tourism in the cities and UNESCO sites, in the Palazzo della Ragione in Padua.

This award makes us proud of the achievement and confirms that the road taken is the right one.

For thirty years, first as environmental guides then as tour operators, build tourism offers – excursions, tours and trips – that are based on the principles of responsible and sustainable tourism.
Our travel experiences follow the lines of slow tourism: long, slow, authenticity, contamination, sustainability, emotion.

This award is in addition to the one received in 2015 by Skal International Sustainable Tourism Award with “Venice project: another turism is possible“.

We believe it is possible another form of tourism in Venice: a charming and unique way of exploring extraordinary places in the environment and local culture. That is why we address our tourism proposals to the school, to share with students and their teachers a different way to discover Venice and its many secrets hidden among the islands of the lagoon.
